description
An amazing meeting in a fairytale land – full of magic, fantastic characters, where all that surrounds us is music! The project gained recognition and enthusiasm of the parenting community, which was reflected in the award in the plebiscite of the Czas Dzieci.pl portal - Słoneczniki 2022 in the Music category.
The repertoire will include songs specially selected and prepared for the occasion from children's shows performed on our stage in recent years: “Forest Book”, “Music and magic”, “Professor Wiolinek” and “Ongaku: The Three Stones”. The selection of songs will surely please all enthusiasts of mysterious, fairytale worlds, children's films or talking (and singing!) animals. On the stage we will see: Cinderella, Evil Princess, monkeys, a wolf, a spider, pirates, ghosts and other characters. In addition to ballads, you can hear songs referring to Disney productions, live songs in dance rhythms, pirate shanties, blues, and even… rap! Colourful costumes and stage design will take the audience to a world full of adventures and childhood dreams.
The lead roles will be played by well-known and liked by children soloists: Magdalena Barylak and Michał Kutnik. The concert will be conducted by Marcin Herman, who will play the role of the Ghost of the Opera. They will be accompanied by the Krakow Opera Children's Choir and instrumental ensemble.
Paweł Wójtowicz – the concertmaster of the Opera Orchestra and the author of fairy tales about Professor Wiolinek adored by children and the latest production for children – “Ongaku: The Three Stones”, a performance fully accessible also to people with visual, auditory and physical disabilities is responsible for the script and direction. Marek Kluza, conductor of the Opera Children's Choir, in collaboration with Beata Kluza, took over the musical direction of the concert.
