description
Where Love Lives is a new version of a concert performance, created as part of the celebrations of the seventieth anniversary of presenting operettas and musicals on the stage of the Krakow Opera.

In each of these musical-theatrical masterpieces, romantic relationships and the protagonists' adventures are present, humorous, erotic intrigues, and invariably happy endings are the mainstay of the stage stories. The climactic moments of the plot are often lyrical and musical gems that have earned a permanent place in the catalogs of concert music. Our performance, which tells about love themes in operettas and musicals, will feature such hits as the waltz from "Countess Maritza" by I. Kalman - Light, airy and the simplest, Adele's aria from "Die Fledermaus" by J. Strauss - A gentleman like you, an evergreen from the musical "My Fair Lady" - "Dance all night long", a duet from "The Merry Widow" by F. Lehar - "The Lips Are Silent, the Soul Sings", a duet from "The Csárdás Princess" by I. Kalman - "What's happening, I'm going crazy, I have heaven in my heart" and many others.

Our group of soloists (Magdalena Barylak, Zuzanna Caban, Monika Korybalska, Paula Maciołek, Katarzyna Oleś-Blacha) and soloists (Jarosław Bielecki, Krzysztof Kozarek, Michał Kutnik, Sebastian Marszałowicz) will be supported by the Krakow Opera Choir and Ballet Ensembles, and the Orchestra will be conducted by Maestro Jacek Boniecki.
