Miłosz Korpol

Current fifth-year student specializing in Orchestral and Opera Conducting at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, studying under the guidance of Professor Szymon Bywalec. In 2022 completed a Master's Degree in Law, with a focus on Copyright Law. Notably, he has been awarded scholarships from the Rector of the Academy of Music in Katowice on two separate occasions for outstanding academic performance. In the 2023/2024 season holds the position of resident conductor at the Krakow Opera as part of the National Institute of Music and Dance program. Additionally, he serves as an assistant conductor with the Universitätsorchester in Dresden, and since 2022 he is a guest conductor at the Teatr Rozrywki in Chorzów. Despite still being in the early stages of his career, he has already had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple esteemed ensembles, such as Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Universitätsorchester Dresden, NUSO "Slobozhansky" from Kharkiv, Symphony Orchestra of the Zielona Góra Philharmonic, Silesian Chamber Orchestra, NOSPR Academy Orchestra, Karol Szymanowski Academic Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, and the Deutsch-Polnisches Jugendorchester Frankfurt (Oder). He has gained experience by participating in numerous courses under the guidance of renowned maestros such as Massimiliano Caldi, Tomasz Bugaj, Tomasz Tokarczyk, Zbigniew Graca, and Jerzy Salwarowski. In early 2023 he had the honor of earning a place in the prestigious masterclasses led by Marin Alsop at NOSPR. Moreover, he actively engages in conferences and scientific sessions and maintains a regular collaboration with the NOSPR in Katowice, where he contributes as a speaker.
