The Krakow Opera is looking for candidates for the following positions: ensemble dancer, coryphée dancer, solo dancer.

1.Scope of Duties:
Preparation and public performance of assigned choreographic arrangements, including the creation of stage characters, roles, tasks in the following areas: acting, dance, in accordance with the requirements of the producers and the Opera; participation in events and activities, including performances, rehearsals, lessons, recordings, auditions according to the work plan and adherence to the instructions of the instructors; compliance with the requirements for the created character, its image, costumes, set dressing; preparation and performance of the role in case of the requirement for substitution due to extraordinary circumstances.

2.Requirements for the Candidate:

• Ballet school diploma;
• Enjoyment of full public rights.

3.Documents Required in the Recruitment:

• Resume including in particular: date of birth, address and e-mail address, weight (voluntary information) and height, information on education and professional achievements (honourable mentions in ballet competitions, awards, leading roles, internships, previous place of employment);
• Portrait and ballet images; please send photographs and videos taken/recorded in the last year;
• Video recording of a variation or pas de deux from the classical repertoire (YouTube / Vimeo links, etc.);
• Descriptive information confirming compliance with the requirements;
• Consent to the processing of personal data: “I consent to the processing of personal data beyond the scope of Article 221 §1 and §4 of the Labour Code (including data of special data categories referred to in Article 9(1) of the GDPR) that I have included in my application documents and attachments for the period required for the purpose of the processing, which is the recruitment process. I give the above consent voluntarily in accordance with Article 4(11) of the GDPR. I consent to the sending of information by email for the purpose of the recruitment process”:

4.Participation in the Recruitment: the required documents shall be submitted only in electronic form (non-editable, e.g. as a PDF file, without the need for manual signatures) to hr@operakrakowska.pl by 5th January 2025 at: 12:00. Documents submitted in any other form or after the closing date shall not be assessed.
Selected candidates will be informed of their qualification for the 2nd stage of recruitment. At this stage, documents such as a university degree and certificates of employment shall be required.

5.The Krakow Opera reserved the right to contact only selected candidates. Only complete applications shall be assessed. Dancers qualified to participate in the audition will be notified by email.
