We say goodbye to Andrzej Wartalski - Artist of the Krakow Opera Choir
It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Andrzej Wartalski, who worked at the Krakow Opera as a Choir Artist in the baritone group from 1992.
We will remember him for his roles in such productions as The Gypsy Baron, The Haunted Manor and Tosca, directed by Laco Adamik, Rigoletto directed by Henryk Baranowski or Ariadne on Naxos directed by Włodzimierz Nurkowski. The artist also performed in solo parts in The Barber of Seville, directed by Jerzy Stuhr, Madame Butterfly directed by Waldemar Zawodziński and Traviata directed by Krzysztof Nazar.
We say goodbye to a longtime friend of the Krakow Opera and express our sympathy to Andrzej's family and relatives.
Funeral ceremonies will take place on May 1 at 12.00 in the Church of Saint John Paul II in Krzeszowice.
